But this popular Bangladeshi film critic, teacher, actor, and former RJ is much more than your average film lover. He is also the co-founder of সিনেগল্প - Cinegolpo, host of the Remnant Glimpse podcast and former host of Star Movie Review produced by The Daily Star. • EP55 - Understanding BD Music Industry ft. Aroni and Raiyan Sarwar Dio
    2024/12/08

My next guest on the Nabanoor podcast is the one and only Raiyan Sarwar a.k.a "Dio". He began his musical journey in 2009, starting as a bassist. Around 2010 Dio started singing for some local bands and quickly established himself as a talented musician, winning Battle of the Bands in 2012 with his former band Friday the 13th. Over the years, he has been the singer and songwriter for numerous bands and genres, showcasing his versatility as a singer, while also playing various instruments including the guitar, drums, bass, and keyboard. Currently, he serves as the lead singer and songwriter for two dynamic bands: A.K. Rahul and Roman Sacrifice, and is working on full length albums with both lineups. Also, I consider himself as one of the most talented cooks I have ever met. Super excited to bring him over on my show.

  • EP51 - Reality vs Fiction ft. Aroni and Farzana Sithi
    2024/11/24

My next guest on the Nabanoor podcast is student and activist Farzana Sithi (ফারজানা সিথি). She was one of the most iconic figures during Bangladesh's 2024 quota reform movement. However, the iconic poster girl of the July Revolution has another ironic identity now. Sithi just might be one of the biggest victims of cyberbullying, harassment, and deepfake AI content in the world let alone Bangladesh. What I want to know is how she and her loved ones have been mentally dealing with all of this and her own life story.
