As a rapper, singer, recording enegineer and songwriter her music career started in 2014, at the age of 20, first started writing music at the age of 10. She defines her music genre as "Trapsoul".Monae believes that if the right words are heard, they could change someone's life for the better. Monae is a marketing strategist who has partnered with CEOs, executives, as well as other artists to help grow her professional brand. Monae landed both a publishing and distribution deal, now in Charlotte NC. Since then, she has successfully released many singles and a few albums. Monae has dedicated her life to music with hopes of achieving worldwide success.When she isn't behind the mic, she enjoys graphic designing and art. As well as trying to grow her clothing brand, MOEDRIP " its moe than just a brand it's a lifestyle". Moedrip is another avenue to express herself. She said, "I'm Moe and I feel drippy when I wear it so i named it Moedrip." Also the equality for womens right of choice. The logo represents
