Chris Twiggs is a 17-time finisher at Hardrock. He's also co-host of The Hardtalk Podcast, which is all things Hardrock 100 Endurance Run all the time. He is very passionate about that race. If you've ever met Chris at an ultra or one of the many other races or expos, you will know that he's a smart, interesting guy. He takes the time and learns the stories of the people he meets and the places he goes, and he's just a natural at sharing them. The only editing I have to do in my talks with him are my booboos. Pamela Chapman Markle completed the Keys 100 this year for her 10th time! 10 Keys 100 finishes! Crazy! This race is not easy. Pam is 69 years young. She's also on her way to Death Valley to go for her 7th Badwater finish. She's also completed 50+ more ultras and they were mostly 100's. Inspiring, amazing, you pick the adjective! Luke Vidal and Nicole Kay is a runner's love story made in heaven....or Ft. Myers. They are one of the nicest and most enthusiastic running couples you will ever meet. I think I formally met them at Trident last year, but had been at a few races that they were at before that. Their stories are quite interesting and entertaining. I first heard Thierry Guillot's name when he got 5th place at Long Haul 100 this year in 17:57:26 at 56 years old. This was a 50ish minute PR for him, but don't be fooled by the flat race time. This dude has done some tough ones all over the world including a recent finish at Cruel Jewel and Canyons. He's from Miami by way of France and he's a fast marathoner as well. Enjoy!

Rick Albanese is a guy I met online back in the early Spring this year when he reached out with questions about the Chief Ladiga 100. After he finished the race, I learned it was his comeback race after beating cancer. I love a good comeback story, so I asked him to share it with you. I have been following Emily Hawgood ever since I saw her at the runners meeting up by the stage for Western States in 2023. She loves that race and just exudes positivity and joy.
