Miami Dolphins vs. Houston Texans Week 12 Recap

  • サマリー

  • There’s not much to say about this one, our Miami Dolphins welcomed the Texans into town and took care of business, no trap game to speak of. We did suffer two concerning injuries on the offensive line, will they be ready for our clash with the 49ers?

    Miami Dolphins Gotta Love It

    • Tua and the entire passing game continued to be dominant.
      • Tua: 22/36, 299 yards, 1 Touchdown, 0 Interceptions
      • Tyreek Hill: 6 catches, 9 targets, 85 yards
      • Jaylen Waddle: 5 catches, 10 targets, 85 yards
      • River Cracraft: 4 catches, 4 targets, 55 yards
    • The defense had a day, recording 5 sacks, 7 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 6 passes defensed, 7 QB hits, and a touchdown.
      • Sacks for Elandon Roberts, Jaelan Phillips, Jerome Baker, Duke Riley, and Bradley Chubb.
      • Interceptions for Andrew Van Ginkle and Verone McKinley III
      • Forced fumble by Bradley Chubb
      • Fumble Recovery for a Touchdown by Xavien Howard
    • Special Teams had a nice bounce-back day
      • Jason Sanders: 3/3 on field goals and extra points
      • Thomas Morstead: 6 punts, 296 yards, 49.3 average, 55 long

Miami Dolphins Hate to See It

    • Terron Armstead and Austin Jackson both left the game with injuries.
    • The running game was surprisingly non-existent against the NFL’s worst run defense.
    • The Texans made significant halftime adjustments and had both our starting and backup offense nailed down.
    • Tua was sacked 3x in the second half before being pulled.
    • The second-half defense had no answers for most of the second half, giving up big plays left and right and allowing 15 points in the half.
