Robin L. Brown, owner of Robin Laura Events, turned a personal challenge into a thriving business. After struggling to find the perfect venue for a dinner party, Robin used her 17 years of expertise in retail operations to transform her small New York City apartment into an elegant, cozy gathering space. The event was a hit, and soon her guests began requesting her creative and detail-driven event planning services for their own celebrations.

Robin’s passion for event planning dates back to the age of 10, when she organized her first birthday party. Today, she leads a team that specializes in intimate and meaningful events, from romantic dinners for two, and surprise dinner parties to intimate weddings, community block parties, and fundraising breakfasts.

Robin’s resume also includes 13 years of experience working on two of New York’s most iconic events: Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Her ability to balance logistics with an eye for detail ensures every event she touches leaves a lasting impression on her clients and their guests.

Her company Harmony Organizing provides a holistic suite of personal and business support services that propel individuals and small businesses with social missions from idea to launch. She is also the Founder of The Network Incubator, a creative think tank for business ideas supporting under-resourced entrepreneurs locally, nationally and globally.

Ayanna is a native of Richmond, VA with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master’s in Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. In her creative space, she is a vocalist, violinist, long-distance runner, salsa dancer and emerging artist. She loves laughing and exploring new things.

She recently graduated from Georgetown University, where she obtained her M.A. in Communication, Culture, and Technology and developed an interest in strategic communications and corporate social responsibility. While at Georgetown, Nadia served as Chief of Staff for the Black Graduate Student Alliance. Nadia is also a proud alumna of Howard University where she earned a B.A. in International Affairs. Ms. Greene is passionate about music, traveling, and learning about other cultures in her spare time and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
