    2025/06/02

In this episode of the podcast, we’re thrilled to introduce you to Hope Gulley, APRN—a skilled provider whose journey into aesthetics and plastic surgery was shaped by a personal journey.

Hope shares how her mother’s cancer diagnosis first sparked her calling to healthcare, and how that personal experience shaped her passion for patient care. After beginning her career in pediatrics, she discovered a new passion in plastic surgery and aesthetics—blending her clinical expertise with an eye for detail and a heart for healing.

Hope opens up about her nursing path, advanced training, and what ultimately led her to the unique field of plastic surgery.

    ____

Hope is our Nurse Practitioner and Master Injector, specializing in both cosmetic and surgical procedures—including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, laser resurfacing, and much more!

Some of Hope’s favorite treatments to perform for patients are laser resurfacing—such as HALO and MicroLaserPeel—and skin-boosting procedures like Bellafill and Skinvive! She has been trained by the leaders in the field and offers the highest level of care and transformative results for her patients, who frequently praise Hope for her “gentle touch.”

In addition to her work in aesthetics, Hope also assists with the surgical side of the practice. She performs procedures such as scar revisions and skin lesion removal, and she assists Dr. Basile in the operating room. Hope also manages the post-operative care experience for patients, and enjoys providing education, utilizing her surgical skills, and guiding patients through every step of the recovery process.

When she’s not caring for patients, Hope enjoys going to the beach with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Beau, playing beach volleyball, and spending time with friends and family.

  • The State of the Union of Plastic Surgery in 2025
    2025/05/03

In our very first episode of Making the Cut, we’re diving into the “State of the Union” of aesthetic plastic surgery in 2025. What’s trending? What are patients really looking for? And where is the industry headed?

Dr. Patrick Basile and Hope Gulley, APRN explore the rise in body contouring procedures following significant weight loss, the growing desire for more natural, balanced results, and the shift toward a more holistic approach in facial aesthetics.

But more than trends, this episode is about what matters most: safety, education, and choosing the right provider. With more patients seeking aesthetic treatments than ever before, finding a board-certified physician trained in aesthetics is critical.

The future of plastic surgery is bright—but not all providers are created equal. Tune in for expert insight on how to stay informed, safe, and confident in your journey.
