Something different is happening here today. I'm Jennifer Ford Barry, and welcome back to the Make Room Show. It's the NYS prison strike, and it's time the nation knew what's really going on. To help me unpack this, I've invited Bernadette Singer, a corrections officer's wife. Are you ready to make a change in your life?

Listen to this episode to hear the inspirational story of how my guest, Jennifer McDaniel, took that risk, tried something different, followed God's path, and made her dream happen!

Just a few years ago, Jennifer McDaniel was feeling overwhelmed by family health issues and the struggles of being a stay-at-home mom to 4 kids. She was burnt out from helping everyone and putting everyone else's needs first. She felt like her cup was empty and she had nothing left to give. She decided to put herself first and attended my 2019 Created Order Conference in Charlotte, NC. Getting there wasn't easy, but she knew God had a path for her so she made it happen.

Often times right before you are ready to go to the next level, there will be obstacles to overcome. This is when you learn perseverance. As a mom, we often give into those obstacles or guilt but you have to take time for yourself to hear your inner voice to know where your path should take you. It is important to give yourself time, be calm, stop running, and listen.

You don't have to have all the answers. You can figure it out as you go. Follow where you are guided and the answers will come. I know many of you want to live on purpose and are waiting for everything to be perfectly lined up and have all the answers.

If you have a dream in your heart you need to give yourself permission to try, even if it's a little bit at a time. Surround yourself with women that are highly motivated, and encouraging and you will get there.

Now that Jennifer McDaniel is a purpose-driven mom, she is no longer stuck in the daily mess. She is living intentionally with purpose and you can too!
