Today I have a return guest! Maggie Milner, President & CEO of the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce is back to update us on the many positive changes we have seen in both downtown Eatonton and Putnam County over the last couple of years! Keeping with my theme of interesting people & interesting businesses, my guest today certainly fits the bill!

We’ll meet Justin Cullifer, who recently opened a new business that solves an old problem. Justin noticed that everyone wanted to transform their home to look like the manicured entrances of local golf communities, with beautiful pine straw installed and blending with the landscape . But there really wasn’t an easy way to accomplish that. So, Preserved Pine was born! Blending the age old “laying of pine straw” with the convenience of modern technology, Justin created a high tech way to request and complete your custom pine straw installation…think of them as the Uber of pine straw! You’ll love the simplicity and convenience they are bringing to the lake area!

But he also has a “day job” in the technology field. Several years ago, Justin formed APG Technology, a software-consulting group, and we’ll talk about the important and interesting work they do. They recently won a Best in Georgia award for the impactful work they are doing here is Georgia. You don’t want to miss our conversation about AI trends!

My guest today is no stranger to many of you, but I’ll bet you will learn something about her you don’t know. And if you don’t Andrea Wuori, you will most certainly enjoy hearing her story, her journey and her many interesting experiences!

Hailing from North Carolina, where she grew up and went to school, she found herself in Atlanta, where she lived for most of her adult life. We’ll talk about how in the mid 2000’s, after playing the Great Waters Course, she and husband Dick fell in love with the idea of living here. Well, perhaps Dick more than Andrea, at leat in the beginning. Yet, they still found themselves buying a lot and building a home at the Lake, in Great Waters!

We’ll talk about their love of travel, now having visited every continent at least once, which is her favorite continent, country and city... And being an avid golfer, playing golf all around the world, which are her favorite, and least favorite, courses. Did you know Andrea has had five holes-in-one? We’ll talk about what that is like the first time it happens!

And what is it like to not only golf, but fish all around the world! She will share some fun stories, fish facts and a close encounter of a bear kind!
