We’re back with you early to kick off the final week of May – because the Nebraska baseball team took Husker Nation by storm on Sunday with a 5-0 win against UCLA to capture a second consecutive Big Ten tournament. Yes, Will Bolt and the Huskers are dancing again.

Where might the NCAA on Monday send the Huskers for regional play? Does it matter that they’re more of an underdog than a year ago to escape the first weekend of the postseason? Not at all, say Connor and Mitch. In fact, this team, with the way it came together after ace pitcher Mason McCounaughey suffered an injury early in the season, shares a few things in common with teams that have made runs in the postseason.

Also, Jordy Bahl and the Nebraska softball team fell just short, losing 1-0 at Tennessee in the decisive game of a super regional on Sunday. The Huskers are sure to use the defeat as motivation to get back to this weekend next year – and to experience it at home.
