Arizona Cardinals were flexed to play the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday night in what was set to be another "win and stay in playoff contention" game for the Cardinals, and then they lost to the Carolina Panthers in Week 16 making this game a moot point for playoff purposes. With that said, there is much that will be taken away from their performance on Saturday night in Los Angeles. Pride is on the line. Execution and momentum is on the line. And yeah, momentum may not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but how one does the small things is how they do everything. That's the case for the Cardinals in Week 17. Kyler Murray will play. James Conner may miss the game with a knee injury. Arizona Cardinals end their season in embarrassing fashion as they lost 36-30 to the Carolina Panthers. After going into their bye week at 6-4, the Arizona Cardinals lost 4 of 5 games and now are officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Cardinals offense relied on James Conner who had yet another game with over 100 total yards before getting injured in the second half. Questionable playcalling and decision-making by Kyler Murray led the Cardinals to an early vacation instead of beating a team they 100% should have beaten. The Cardinals spotted the Carolina Panthers 20 first half points and couldn't recover as they see their season end. Many questions will surround Kyler Murray, Marvin Harrison Jr, Jonathan Gannon, and Drew Petzing this offseason.
