Our first stop is Tivoli Bowl in downtown Downers' Grove. Downhill Runner has upped thier lineup two a foursome. Their music style has toughened up from melodic punk pop to aggressive thrash metal on a pair of self-titled EPs that follow up thier full length 2019 debut album, Rebel Radio. I talk with them before they slalom their way onto the Tivoli Bowl Underground Lounge stage to get a Sunday night packed house pogoing through the gutter ball ridden lanes.
