  • How I Came Back After Excommunicating Myself

    Alec was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but grew up surrounded by people who were openly "anti-Mormon." Despite having profound spiritual experiences in his youth, he found himself in a state of constant confusion, questioning his faith as he got older. A combination of factors—including bullying—led to depression and suicidal thoughts, eventually pushing Alec to the point where he told the Holy Spirit to leave. In search of something to fill the void, he turned to atheism, nihilism, and other philosophies. Eventually, Alec found his way back to the LDS Church, only to realize that God never had—and never will—tell him to leave.

    Sage was born into a Latter-day Saint family, but didn’t develop a personal relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in her youth. Feeling isolated at church, she turned to the online world in search of identity and acceptance. While she found friends through apps, she was also introduced to worldly influences — such as substances and occultism — and constantly felt like she was chasing a fleeting sense of belonging. After a miraculous recovery from a serious car accident, Sage realized that God saved her life. After that, she made the courageous decision to repent and return to the Church.

  • The Shocking Path That Led Us To LDS Church

    Meet Regula and Philippe Kradolfer, both converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! Regula, born in Switzerland, grew up believing in God, but did not support organized religion. Philippe, who was born in Bolivia, was raised Catholic and even considered becoming a Priest. This potential plan changed when Philippe received an opportunity to study in Switzerland, where he met Regula. During their dating, Philippe was befriended by Elders and given a Book of Mormon. After careful study and prayer, he planned to be baptized, but did not tell Regula until she attended the day of! Regula was disappointed at first, but after witnessing the positive impact this new faith had on her boyfriend, she decided to be baptized herself a few months later. The two waited a year to be sealed in the temple. Regula and Philippe have incredible testimonies and are both so grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ!

    James’ childhood was split between living at the Scientology Celebrity Center with his mother and living with his agnostic Father. He learned about God from a young age by watching Sunday morning TV preachers, and would even pray for his family. In his teenage years, James turned to substances as a way to cope with the difficult parts of life. After the passing of a celebrity he looked up to, James was prompted to begin a spiritual journey and change his life. His co-worker, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, gave him a copy of the Book of Mormon.
