  • FEELS LIKE WHO WOULD DO THIS TO AGGIE ALBERT?

    A retired chemist, from a family that had immigrated to the US from Lebanon, she and her older sister shared a home and the LTD convertible as well as a sisterly friendship that was a beautiful bond. Aggie was a nightowl and would volunteer at the church that her family had belonged to for decades, Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Main Street in Covington. on July 2, 1992. 69 year old Aggie Albert went to Sacred Heart with her keys and spent some time cleaning up after a church event. She was excited to participate in the upcoming Fourth of July parade which she always did, decorating her bike to show her pride in her town. When her sister realized she had not returned home from her trip to the church at 9:30PM the night before she was on her way to Sacred Heart when she was stopped by a policeman blocking the street where crime scene tape was strung up to prevent gawkers from seeing Aggie who had been sexually assaulted and strangled to death.

    WHO would do this to Aggie Albert, the gem of her family, her community and her church?

    Albert was killed on July 3, 1993 in the City of Covington, VA.

    The case is a forcible rape/ homicide.

    The case is currently unsolved and under investigation. Several persons of interest have been identified and are now deceased.
