Additionally, Joseph references Hebrews 6:12, urging us to learn from those who, through faith and patience, inherited the promises of God. He reveals that as God’s kingdom seeks to manifest, a rising pressure will emerge, inspiring powerful voices and believers who will stand with unprecedented authority. If we continue to wait on the Lord, we will see His goodness in the land of the living. He then emphasizes that God desires us to walk in boldness by remaining connected to Him and pushing back against the spirit of Jezebel and the antichrist spirit.

Today, Joseph Z explores the characteristics of those who walk in the spirit of Elijah, emphasizing the importance of examining the world around us and discerning the signs of the times.

Joseph explains that one trait of individuals who possess the spirit of Elijah is their discernment of the times, knowing what actions to take and aligning themselves with the right people, much like the sons of Issachar in 1 Chronicles 12:32. He points to Matthew 16:3 to illustrate how Jesus rebuked those who could predict the weather but failed to recognize the signs of the times.

He goes on to discuss the background of the sons of Issachar, who were skilled in public affairs and contributed numerous soldiers and commanding leaders to King David’s reign. Joseph reveals that the sons of Issachar played a key role in establishing the nation’s leadership; they were not only astrologers and astronomers but also statesmen. Their understanding of the heavens was akin to that of the wise men who found their way to Jesus, with their counsel being sought in all matters due to the complete trust the community had in them.

Furthermore, Joseph emphasizes that the sons of Issachar possessed the ability to understand the signs of the times, allowing them to interpret the current and upcoming seasons effectively.

Joseph further highlights the traits associated with the sons of Issachar: the capacity to learn, perceive, discern, experience, confess, consider, understand people relationally, and be skillful, both in being recognized and in making oneself known. Joseph clarifies that those who are carnal and natural-minded live in blindness because they do not walk in the spirit. He reminds us of God’s message in Galatians 5:16, which encourages us to walk in the Spirit to avoid fulfilling the desires of the flesh. He urges us to read the Bible continually to be able to recognize the signs of the times and to impart wisdom to those God has placed in our path.
