I’m so excited you are joining me today for our last episode of the 2024 season. It has been a genuine pleasure bringing you fabulous authors with incredible books all year long. This year we reach our 200th episode and I’m blown away by all your support. Thank you so much, my dear listeners.

Would like to also give a huge Thank You to all our guests. This year, they range from famous musicians, comedians, debut authors to award-winners, all sharing their passions with us. I’m so honor and humble for everyone who joined me on this incredible journey. This evening, we have an amazing guest, the fabulous Mr. Jeff Giles, sharing his latest book, Langley Powell and the Society for the Defense of the Mundane.

An experienced culture writer and editor who's been featured in a long list of publications including Paste Magazine, the Village Voice, American Songwriter, Ultimate Classic Rock, and Rotten Tomatoes, Jeff Giles makes his debut as a novelist with Langley Powell and the Society for the Defense of the Mundane.

Although it's his first novel, Langley Powell is Jeff's third book, following Llanview in the Afternoon: An Oral History of One Life to Live, and Uncle John's Beer-Topia: A Heady Brew of Beer Miscellany. He can also be heard regularly as the co-host of the long-running Record Player podcast with Matt Wardlaw. When Jeff isn't working on his next project, he's probably either running off yesterday's calories or playing guitar (badly).

John Bonner Hammond is a fantasy/Sci-fi author on the autism spectrum. John started writing at a very young age, and has taken it on as his calling in life.
