Hey, buddies. Our palls over at Daily Faceoff were speculating Conny and the Flames may be looking to go big in the UFA market this off-season. While this is unlikely, since we have nothing better do while we're relegated to benchwarming the Panthers and Oilers, we thought we'd talk about the idea of adding in free agency and our preferences for Flames moves this summer.

Ugh. Once again the Greasers seem destined for the finals. Meanwhile we're just sitting on the sideline. Today we're begrudgingly talking about the Oilers domination of the Stars and hoping the Panthers have an answer (again).

We're also hoping the Oilers success lights a fire under the Flames organization to start getting serious about producing a Cup contending club and discussing how close / far the Flames are to being a contender.

Hey, fellas. Today we're looking back at the mini doc 'The Chase' the Flames crew filmed over the course of the year. It's interesting to see the ask laid out from day one from Conny, to the coaching staff, to the leadership group, and how it translated to on ice results in retrospect. Conny and Huska challegned the boys to be the hardest working team in the league this year and leave it all on the ice...and the message was well received...maybe there truly is a culture shift happening in Calgary.

Obviously we had to poke a little fun at Brad Treliving's misfortunes over in Toronto and, very unfortunately, had to preview the upcoming rematch between the Dallas Stars and the Coilers (big Stars fans over here).

Hey, boys. Craig Conroy started the offseason with a bang by locking in Matt Coronato to a seven year contract extension. We're breaking down the deal and what it means for the other RFA's on the team. Additionally, a little season review as we grade every player and the coach + manager based off performance this year.

The Flames capped off a huge week with a win over SJ on home ice. The 3-0-1 stretch has the Flames in a Schrödinger's cat playoff hunt right until the bitter end.
