このコンテンツについて
Liberty Arts Studio & Foundry, represented by Emily Wismer, Liberty Arts Letterpress & President of the Board, as well as Stephanie Minor, Studio Manager, is a 501(c)(3) non‐profit corporation dedicated to making art accessible to everyone in the Durham community, with both a studio collective of artists on Pearl Street and a foundry at Durham Central Park. For over two decades, Liberty Arts artists have made some of the most iconic sculptures in Durham, the highlight of which is Major The Bull, located in the heart of downtown, and have taught more than 2,600 individual students of all ages. Today, Parag talks with Emily and Stephanie about what Liberty Arts is doing to support and develop local artists, plus how they are connecting with the community through events like their annual Iron Pour (coming up on 11/5/22).
