I’m Your Host Dreme.

I’m a Black woman, an educator turned tech entrepreneur but still an educator. Building a platform called THE CHAIR is a Black and Brown centered tech platform dedicated to supporting people on their hair journey. You can design hairboards, connect to hair stylists, and share hair care tips all in one space for a more joyous and streamlined experience. I built THE CHAIR Podcast to highlight hair journeys. A reminder to keep creating magic. As people sit in THE CHAIR you will get more than just hair stories. You will be immersed into experiences surrounding education, entrepreneurship, and identity. I hope you enjoy listening to my stories and the stories of my guests as we sit in THE CHAIR.

Kat Zhou is a nature photographer and adventure travel designer based in San Francisco, CA. Her photography work has been featured in numerous competitions and publications worldwide, and she's passionate about capturing and raising awareness on often-overlooked species and destinations. She also helps design custom adventure trips highlighting unique experiences and off-the-beaten-path locations, and she hopes that, through photography and travel, she can encourage a deeper appreciation for the diversity of our world. When she's not out photographing or leading trips, she enjoys meowing at cats, eating lots of food, and dancing crazily to 170+bpm music.
