    Today's guest is Dr Paul Conti. Paul is a psychiatrist and author, specialising in trauma and the impact it can have on our minds and bodies. His 2022 book Trauma: The Invisible Epidemic, comes with an endorsement from Lady Gaga, who claims he saved her life. In this episode, Paul and Stephanie talk in depth about trauma, both individual and collective, how we recognise it, and how we can work to heal from it. Paul emphasies the importance of placing equal value on our mental health as our physical health, and shares tips and advice on how to do that. They discuss the concept of inherited trauma, and what to do if you feel that’s something affecting your life.
