On April 24, a driver was arrested for alleged fourth-offense DUI after leading Nebraska State Patrol officers on a brief pursuit northbound on Highway 75 near downtown Omaha. The incident occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m. when a trooper attempted a traffic stop for failure to maintain lane. The driver refused to yield, accelerating to speeds near 95 miles per hour over a two-mile stretch before stopping. The suspect was arrested without reported injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
