Earlier in the week, Henderson Police began investigating a delayed death linked to a shooting that reportedly occurred near Lake Mead Parkway and Boulder Highway. The victim succumbed to injuries at a local hospital several days after the incident. Details regarding suspects have not been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
Multiple reports of vehicle thefts were received from the Green Valley and Seven Hills neighborhoods. In several cases, suspects allegedly entered unlocked vehicles during nighttime hours. Police urge residents to secure vehicles and report any suspicious activity. These cases are active and under investigation.
During the week, officers responded to a commercial burglary near Stephanie Street and Warm Springs Road. According to police, forced entry was gained overnight, and electronic items were reported stolen. No arrests have been made, and detectives are seeking public assistance. The suspect, described as a male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a gray hoodie and dark jeans, allegedly threatened an employee before fleeing on foot with merchandise. Police are actively seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect.
Henderson Police also responded to a non-fatal assault in the West Henderson area. The altercation resulted in minor injuries, and one adult was arrested at the scene. The case has been forwarded to the District Attorney’s office for review.
