Tuesday, May 27, 2025 – Cadence neighborhood – Alleged motor vehicle theft. A vehicle was reported stolen from a commercial parking lot. No suspects identified at this time. Investigation ongoing.
Wednesday, May 28, 2025 – Near Lake Mead Parkway and Boulder Highway – Alleged assault. Officers responded to a disturbance involving multiple individuals. One adult male sustained minor injuries and declined medical transport. Suspect fled before police arrival. Under investigation.
Thursday, May 29, 2025 – Mission Hills area – Alleged catalytic converter theft. Several parked vehicles were targeted during overnight hours. Police are seeking public assistance for information about suspicious activity observed in this area.
Friday, May 30, 2025 – Stephanie Street corridor – Robbery. A convenience store clerk reported that a masked individual entered the business and demanded money. Cash was taken; no injuries were reported. Suspect is described as a male, approximately 6 feet tall, medium build, last seen wearing dark clothing and a black face mask. Police ask anyone with information to contact them.
Saturday, May 31, 2025 – Whitney Ranch vicinity – Alleged vandalism. Property damage was reported to vehicles and exterior walls in a business parking lot. Investigation is underway.
Sunday, June 1, 2025 – Anthem neighborhood – Alleged fraud. Officers received reports of a scam involving unsolicited phone calls requesting personal financial information. No suspects have been identified. Case is open.
The past week saw continued reports of property crimes, with catalytic converter thefts and vehicle burglaries noted in multiple neighborhoods. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity.
