  • A legendary moment with Dexter Wansel

    From the early to mid '70s, Wansel played keyboards for groups such as Instant Funk, Yellow Sunshine, and MFSB. After signing with Philadelphia International Records, as in-house songwriter/producer/arranger, he established a songwriting relationship with the lyricist Cynthia Biggs. He is credited for songs for the Jones Girls, Patti Labelle, Lou Rawls, Billy Paul and The Stylistics. Working with Gamble and Huff he created timeless melodies. His music was sampled by Hip-Hop Icons. His Christmas album entitled Christmas is Love is a timeless reminder of the music families can and will listen to.
