Jane, who adored animals as a girl, traveled to Gombe where she spent three months observing, and spending time with the primates. Some of what she observed rocked the scientific community around the world, shaping how we understand the animal kingdom today. Cristina founded the International League of Conservation Photographers, and is the co-founder of SeaLegacy, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of our oceans.
