    We inch closer to the start of the second half of baseball season. Grant is again in for Griffin on Thursday's edition of GCR. Near the bottom of Hour 1, our friend Jim Callis from MLB Network and MLB Pipeline joins to recap the Draft, where the Orioles' system is and how it could improve at the deadline. Late in Hour 1, we'll catch up with former Maryland basketball star Darryl Morsell (Mount St. Joseph) to discuss playing for Team Shell Shock in The Basketball Tournament. Midway through Hour 2, we meet Cam Nelson (St. Paul's), who was drafted by the Rockies in Round 5. We wrap things up by talking with Michigan football standout Derrick Moore (St. Frances) and his work with the Be More Foundation.

Early in Hour 2, the godfather of Maryland MMA-Ground Control's John Rallo joins us before Show Your Soft Side's "Softie Homecoming" tomorrow night. And at the bottom of Hour 2, we'll catch up with former Maryland star Juju Reese (St. Frances) who is in Las Vegas playing in the Summer League with the Lakers.

At the bottom of Hour 2, Commanders receiver and former Raven Chris Moore to discuss being part of Show Your Soft Side's "Softie Homecoming" Thursday night. Plus, Ellicott City, Maryland native Aidan West (Long Reach) discusses being selected in the fourth round by the Los Angeles Dodgers. And we'll wrap the show by going over our "3 Up & 3 Down" choices for the entirety of the Orioles' first half.

At the top of Hour 2, SEC Network analyst and former MLB infielder Todd Walker joins us to discuss the Orioles' selections at 19 and 31, Auburn catcher Ike Irish and Arkansas SS Wehiwa Aloy, respectively. Near the bottom of Hour 2, Auburn baseball coach Butch Thompson tells us more about Ike Irish. Then we'll chat with former Orioles farmhand Zach Moore (@PigTownSports) about where the team is at the break.

It’ll be an express version today as Griffin returns from his vacation to the west coast but alas, now Glenn is out of town at the beach having presumably a lovely time. No fear as our buddy Ken Zalis will be the first guest host to jump on with Griffin this week as they dive into the Orioles who swept the Atlanta Braves over the weekend, we’ll recap all of that, look ahead to the upcoming homestand beginning with the Mets taking the trip down to Camden Yards tonight. And since we’re going to have Ken Zalis with us, we’ll of course talk some Fantasy Football, who he has his eyes on now and what you should be keeping in mind as Draft Day nears…
