  • Oh No, Ian Holloway’s At It Again… – League Two Football Review
    2024/12/16
A ghost goal, a manager talking about xG and box entries when they’re bottom of the league, and another manager who made the headlines (again) following a heated argument with a supporter. Those were just some of the things that happened in League Two. Jordan and Luke sit down to discuss those topics, as well as victories for Walsall and Crewe Alexandra, alongside Gillingham ending MK Dons’ winning run, as well as discussing if Stuart Maynard is starting to feel the heat at Notts County. Timestamps: 00:00 – Intro 00:52 – Grimsby 0-2 Crewe Alexandra 08:10 – Walsall 1-0 Barrow 13:30 – Bromley 0-0 Port Vale 19:55 – Bradford 1-0 Swindon 28:17 – Salford 3-0 Notts County 36:55 – MK Dons 0-1 Gillingham 42:06 – Carlisle 0-2 Chesterfield 47:10 – AFC Wimbledon 1-0 Doncaster 51:44 – Tranmere 2-1 Harrogate 55:01 – Cheltenham 2-0 Morecambe 56:41 – Colchester 0-0 Newport

  • The Training Ground is Haunted? – League Two Just Got Weirder
    2024/11/18

Another international break for some, but not in League Two, as Jordan and Luke return to talk about the weekend’s action.

In this episode, the hosts discuss MK Dons’ rise under Scott Lindsey, frustrating times at Chesterfield and Colchester, and Crewe Alexandra continuing to impress. Alongside that, the two also touch on the protests at Morecambe, a couple of arguably questionable penalty decisions in a couple of games, and Ian Holloway’s interesting post-match interview about how the Swindon training faculties are haunted.

  • The League Two Curse Strikes Again
    2024/11/11

After a week away due to it being FA Cup weekend (in which Grimsby lost to a struggling National League side), Jordan, Jake and Keiron return to talk about the return of the fourth division, including Port Vale’s unbeaten run coming to an end, Morecambe and Carlisle leaving it late to pick up huge victories down at the bottom of the table, and Tranmere scoring more than one goal to win a football match.

The hosts also touch on the impressive team goal scored by Notts County, as well as an assist of the season contender from Grimsby’s Kieran Green (AKA ZineGreen Zidane – this definitely wasn’t typed by Jordan btw).
