A Seat at the Table is a podcast from Communities In Schools of Mid-America. A Seat at the Table is a podcast by teens for teens. This podcast will allow teens to discuss situations and topics that directly affect them, such as social media, life after high school, teen dating & domestic violence, vaping & drugs, and more. As one of our students put it, “Adults always want to tell us how to do life, but they refuse to give us a seat at the table.” We are delighted to give students a seat at the table to discuss these important issues!
In this episode, Brooke travels to Ottawa High School to talk with recently graduated students about the expectations placed on young people. Listen as our guests discuss their own personal experiences with growing up and moving into adulthood.
