A Place for You

My child, I keep a place for you
where no one else can see.
I have this gift nobody has
the bond between you and me.
At times I cannot feel you here
and that pain won't go away.
But when I search my place for you
you're with me every day.
My child, you're not lost,
you don't need to be found.
I've got you here, in my heart
where we're forever bound.
This beautiful poem is meant to bring you hope & help you understand that you're not alone. The loss of any child is heartbreaking, but it's the moments after that can bring so much joy if we allow them. For me, the joy came from my Rainbow babies after losing Yuna. They're spontaneous, curious, loving, and full of energy. Witnessing their growth has brought so much joy and also sadness. But the love & positivity they bring outweighs the pain I experience at times missing my Yuna.
