Elizabeth is an alumna of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s in elementary education. She believes that life’s challenges offer profound lessons—a perspective deepened when her child was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Currently, she channels her passion into writing and advocacy, focusing on making a meaningful impact within the type 1 diabetes community. Her work inspires and empowers others, reflecting her commitment to helping those affected by this diagnosis. Elizabeth now resides in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, Todd, and their children, Marlee Kate and Jackson, where they enjoy adventures together.
