NBA, Mate! is UK's show about NBA basketball where we discuss anything and everything to do with the most exciting sports league in the world.
In episode 3, I start with an assumption that Bradley Beal is the worst player ever to average over 30 points per game in a single season. Having done it twice in the last 3 years, Beal put himself among an elite category of players - maybe too elite for his own luck. Comparing him to the players who averaged 30 or more lately (Steph Curry, James Harden, Joel Embiid, etc.) he is definitely lacking accolades and overall impact, but I wondered if that is the case for the whole of NBA's history or were there players worse than Beal who put up 30 or more.
I researched the topic and in the end was able to prove or disprove my assumption. What do you think - is Beal the worst player to average 30 points per game in a season? Tune in to find out!
