In this episode, Rob meets with Dr. Bob Baugher. Dr. Baugher is an author, a psychologist, and a certified death educator. He is currently a Professor of Psychology at Highline College in Des Moines, Washington.
Dr. Baugher discusses how he got involved in death education, some of the common misconceptions we have about death and grief, our view of death in Western culture and how it differs from the rest of the world, how to speak with children about death and dying, his involvement with the Compassionate Friends Project (which supports bereaved parents), and his book "After Suicide Loss".
