Today we're welcoming back a familiar voice to the podcast: my dear friend Krystle Kavalsky, a 1/3 Sacral Generator, Sagittarius sun / Aries moon / Capricorn rising, and my amazing reference for all things Variable in Human Design!

In this episode, we're diving into the nuances of the heart / ego / will center. Note that Krystle uses the term “ego” and I typically say “heart,” but both terms refer to the same energy center. Krystle has a defined heart, while I am completely open!

We jump in right off the bat with what it means in everyday life to be a "freak" (in Krystle's terms, not mine — only about one-third of the population has the heart center defined!) with an innate sense of being worth and we go on and on from there.

We touch on:

• how defined ego centers can be conditioned —or annoyed — by all the undefined ego energy around them, especially when it comes to making commitments and promises
• the misconception that open or undefined heart centers have no willpower or can't make commitments
• where Krystle is a little jealous of undefined hearts and their capacity for unconditional giving and compassion
• how defined hearts deal with preconceived judgments like “she’s so full of herself” or “you’re so intimidating” — and how undefined hearts can help fill the feeling of lack or not being good enough
• honoring how the heart center is designed to work in bursts and experimenting with that in your daily schedule, along with healing our individual relationship to rest
• how undefined heart centers can look to their Venus gates in their chart to help with their non-negotiables in life

And so, so much more, including more discussion of our variables like determination and environment, our core wounds (one of my favorite topics!, and a breakdown of projected channels vs. manifesting channels and how you can pick up on other types' energy in your chart!
