Dear white women who voted for Trump, We’re Fiji and Autumn and we have a sex, relationships, and personal identity podcast but this is not a regular episode. When we discovered that 53% of white women in America voted for Trump we were shocked, hurt, and confused. In past years we probably would have blocked you, talked shxt, and looked down on you, but that doesn’t feel good or right anymore. We want real change and we want democracy, and we know you do too. For this episode we researched the reasons you voted for Trump and we hear you: you want a better economy and lower cost of living, you want your kids to be safe from crimes, and you respect Donald Trump to be the guy to get it done because of his past as a businessman. He reminds you of men in your family that you love and even though the sexist comments aren’t great, you’re willing to look past them because you trust him to deliver. We know we won’t change your minds on everything but since the media so often divides us, we wanted to tell you about the issues we care about.
