We waste so much time and energy dealing with people who behave badly. Often we put the conversation off for as long as possible and sometimes we avoid these conversations altogether. What we know is that avoiding dealing with difficult behaviour is not going to change anything. As leaders, there are some simple things we can do to connect with and manage difficult people, particularly if they are on our team. Starting with a plan is important and what you role model for your team gives them an idea for how they can also deal with these situations.
