  • Living abroad as an expat isn't always easy as many people tend to believe, in fact, expats tend to deal with more challenging days than those who decided to stay home. There are many reasons why, whether this be due to language, culture, mannerisms, mindset, or personal character. Expats going through challenging times tend to go through them alone, and start to feel isolated, these are dangerous times, as thoughts of "I want to go home" start creeping in. Bad days follow us, and it's up to you to make change, find way to not only deal with difficult or challenging times, but to develop coping mechanisms to relive the stress from yourself, and to remind you as to why you chose to live an expat life in the first place.

     

    In this podcast i go through some of the methods I've found to be most effective to deal with challenging times whilst living abroad, and to bring myself back to normality.
