Attack on a Christmas market in Germany Fox News reported on Friday that a festive Christmas market in Eastern Germany erupted into chaos when a car was driven into a group of people in the city of Magdeburg. Between 60 and 80 people have been injured and at the time of this report 2 had been killed including a child. The Associated Press reports that the suspect is a 50 year old Saudi doctor who came to Germany back in 2006. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said, ‘My thoughts are with the victims and their families. We stand by their side and by the side of the people of Magdeburg.’ Pray for all of the people involved that God will bring comfort and peace in this tragic time.
