  • Beijing was the first stop on our trip. We arrived via Shanghai after an 18-hour flight from Melbourne. Day1 we visited Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.

    Day 2 we visited the Great Wall of China. Before that, we went to a jade museum. We had a Peking duck lunch on the way to the wall.

    We also went on a Hutong (alley) pedicab tour along one of the three lakes west of the Forbidden City.
