With rumors reported that the Rangers brass could be looking to move on from former first round picks such as K'Eandre Miller and Alexis Lafreniere, Joe and Steve take a close look at who is available in free agency, some fat that could be cut from the lineup, and peek ahead at the famed 2026 free agent class that's loaded with superstars. In addition to the players available, this class times out with a major piece of the Rangers contract ending- Artemi Panarin. With the cap expected to go up by about 12 million dollars, the additional 11.6 million from the breadman's cap hit would free up 23.6 million for any potential shopping spree Drury would like to go on.
