  • Saying Goodbye, Lithuania NATO and US Mourn Death of Troops
    2025/04/04

Over the last 8 days (4/3/25) personnel from the US and many other NATO allies, especially Poland, Estonia, and Lithuania worked around the clock to locate and recover 4 American soldiers who died during a training exercise in Lithuania. As Washington rattles about the relevance of NATO and critically damages the US relationship with all of our European allies, we must not forget the sheer camaraderie, care, and bravery that all serving under NATO have for each other. The streets of Villnius were filled today, not with cars, but with people lining the route of 4 hearses that carried the remains of 4 fallen American soldiers as the small Baltic nation bid one of the greatest thank-yous and farewells I have ever witnessed for American enlisted men on international soil. The sight of American and Lithuanian flags were everywhere. Even Major General Curtis Taylor of the US was amazed at the love and response of the Lithuanian people. More people today live in free countries, with free and fair elections, freedoms of speech, religion and press than at any time in the history of the world. That is in no small part, because of the US and the example and military we have to protect those with less than we have. We also have the greatest economy the world has ever known for the same reasons. We must not abandon or shrink from our responsibilities to be that example and assist those who have freedom or yearn for it around the globe. Please take a minute to express your gratitude to our Congressman and Women and encourage them to live up to the example that has created this blanket of freedom and to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for it.

  • Should we be privatizing public services?
    2025/04/03

Recently, some in the federal government have been calling for the privatization of certain public sector services like the post office, Amtrak, airports, and air traffic control. We explore if this is a good idea. The short answer is: it depends. Certain services, like waste collection, work really well in private hands; some private school competition is good for education. But some services have been set up to fail and don't have to. Dozens of airports are being replaced or upgraded with almost no project using any tax dollars. That is great value for the air traveler and the cities working on these projects. Amtrak has one section of rail that they own and is actually profitable, the NE corridor. If the federal government hadn't been deliberately starving this entity of funding, so many more routes would be profitable. It needs continued subsidy because the government has poorly funded it. Clearly, it is well managed, since the area they focused on, they own, are upgrading and is profitable. The Post office is another one. It would be self-sustaining, but Congress has, on more than one occasion, raided the pension fund for its own use. How can that remain solvent if Congress keeps stealing from them?

  • A More Perfect Union
    2025/04/02

In this episode, we look at the brilliance of how our founders created a country they knew was imperfect and how we have made it more perfect throughout the 250 years of our existence. While there is still work to be done, the US has always expanded rights for its people throughout our history. We should always be wary of anyone trying to limit rights of the people. Remember the US government is not the boss; We the People are. Power in our government comes from the consent of the governed, not the other way around.

  • Did any of Trump's advisors go to law school?
    2025/04/01

In today's episode, we explore the corrupt and incompetent state of the DOJ attorney's failing to defend this Administration's Executive Orders. From the quid pro Quo of dropping the corruption charges against NYC Mayor Eric Adams to the blatant Unconstitutional EO to try and redefine Birthright Citizenship to the clear extortion of Law firms who disagree with the President, it seems there is no shortage of DOJ lawyers who got their degrees from a cracker jack box. Six attorneys in NY and DC resigned rather than sign the order to drop corruption charges against the NYC mayor, including the head of the NY US Attorney's office appointed by Trump just weeks earlier, to the head of the corruption division in DC itself. Finally, the corrupt Assistant Attorney General was forced to file the extortion paperwork himself. And then trying to argue that children born of illegals are not subject to US law and therefore not citizens under the 14th amendment. wow, did someone fail reading comprehension? The Reagan-appointed Judge had no tolerance for that argument. Some fools advising the President that using EO's to go after law firms and deny them entry to all federal buildings, including courthouses, didn't know it would violate the 1st and 6th amendments; someone forgot to read the Constitution. Not one, but two federal judges appointed by George W Bush wondered if the DOJ attorney had any common sense? Our Constitutional Republic is designed to protect the rights of the minority from mob rule of the majority. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is above ensuring our Constitution is upheld in our rule of law-based society!

  • A Real Constitutional Crisis is here; Migrants and Due Process
    2025/03/31

In this episode, we explore the battle happening between the Executive Branch (President and DOJ) and the Judiciary over the expulsion of migrants without Due Process. Does the President have uniform authority to deport anyone he deems an enemy without Constitutional required Due Process? If the President refuses to comply with a judges' order, how will the Judiciary enforce their orders? These are real questions we attempt to answer.
