    On this month's show:

    Steve will be telling Alison all about the Cornwall Mind ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing Group’ that he was recently part of and how nature and talking about the environment helps his wellbeing.


    Georgie and Calum will be speaking about trauma and addiction, and how these can affect our mental health.

    Francesca and Julie, from the Champs Team, part of Healthy Cornwall, will explain about their work with the Learning Disabilities Team at Treliske Hospital and share their experiences of presenting this show, for the last two months, alongside Gaelle.

    We hear from Beata Webb who is the Managing Director and Founder of the Pegasus - Men's Wellbeing Centre.

    Plus Steve has been down to Carnon Downs to find more about out more about the “Rock Your Socks off” singing group.

  • Cornwall Mind - World Mental Health Day 2024

    Francesca, Julie and Gaelle host this month’s special programme for World Mental Health Day taking place on Thursday 10th October.

    This is also the first time the show is being produced by the Cornwall Mind radio wellbeing group from the CHBN studios at Treliske Hospital in Truro.

    Francesca tells us about Makaton, the language programme that uses symbols, signs and speech to enable people to communicate. She also explains about Safe Places.
