(Luke 2:6-7 NIV) 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born,7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

(Luke 12:51 NIV) Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division.

(John 16:33) “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

(Jeremiah 4:20) Disaster follows disaster; the whole land lies in ruins. In an instant my tents are destroyed, my shelter in a moment.

(Psalm 109:3) With words of hatred they surround me; they attack me without cause.

(Matthew 27:46) About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).

I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

(John 14:27 TLB) “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

(Romans 5:1 NIV) Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

(Isaiah 26:3) You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

(Psalm 119:165) Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.

(Philippians 4:6-7) 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
