    To be embodied and present in the menial tasks of life is something I deeply enjoy and am extending proficiency in. Being mindful isn't always easy, but it's a practice worth fostering. I see it so profoundly when I'm present in just scooping shit for horses, and Edith was able to communicate with me a pure ask for a quick session.     I really love when sessions sound like stories. We are allowed the history of the Soul to make itself known to better understand and hold the nuances of self, personality, stories and perception of our world. Edith let us in during this session and I'm in awe of her courage and vulnerability. She has no resistance to being seen and I see her deeply in that capacity. A pony... a toy for kids, stubborn, small, easy to manipulate... all these false boxes we put ponies into and Edith is none of them. She has spread her wings and taken flight off the coloring pages of what she had been told he should be and is who she is. I think we all can learn a little bit from this enchanting Shetland pony.
