49ers clinch the NFC, Warriors struggling with Daryle Johnson

  • サマリー

  • We start the show breaking down the New Years Six Bowl Games, starting with the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl. Michigan dominates Alabama almost the entire game. What did Michigan do right? Why did Alabama struggle? Why was the game as close as it was?

Michael Penix and the Huskies dominate the Sugar Bowl. Washington lights up the Longhorn's secondary and Ewers struggles early. How was Texas able to stay in this game? (00:00:00-00:09:35)

We break down the rest of the New Year's Six bowl games with a special nod to Iowa/Tennessee. The Cotton Bowl was an eye sore and Ohio State has major questions to answer heading into next year. Ole Miss dominates Penn State’s stout defense. Is Ole Miss the team to watch out for next year? FSU stars opt out of the Orange Bowl and the Seminoles get smacked. Tennessee crushes Iowa in the Cheez-It Bowl. Is Iowa in trouble next year after the Big 10 does away with conferences? (00:09:35- 00:17:27)

We do a rapid-fire breakdown of all the games from NFL, week 17. The ending of the Lions/Cowboys game shows, yet again, that refs in the NFL need to be held more accountable. Lamar Jackson is MVP and Ravens are clearly the best in the NFL. We don’t know what to make of the Bills and Bears may be a top team next year. Colts finally get the run game going and Panthers are a dumpster fire. C.J Stroud shows how much the Texans need him to win games. The Giants are scrappy and the Eagles are in deep trouble. Saints keep their playoff hopes alive and Rudolf steals the starting QB job. Chiefs continue to look off and Chargers make the Broncos look competent despite no Russel Wilson. Vikings throw in the towel on primetime (00:17:27-00:45:04)

We give our New Week’s Resolutions (00:45:04-00:48:31)

We head to the west coast and talk to Daryl “The Guru” Johnson, host at 95.7 The Game in San Francisco. The 49ers clinch the NFC and the mindset of the fanbase is Super Bowl or bust. How is this team different that last year’s team? What has been the key to this team’s offensive success? What is the one major concern for this 49ers team heading into the playoffs.

What are the updates on Draymond Green and his suspension? Can the Warriors bounce back in the second half of the season? (00:48:31-01:06:34)

We finish the show with our Maker and Fakers of the week (01:06:34-01:12:38)
