In this 3 part series, I lay out a talk I gave a few months back to a group of young adult women about how your hormones affect your dating life. Much of the talk was based on the book "This is Your Brain on Birth Control" by Sarah E. Hill, PhD. The three parts include:
- Understanding your anatomy & hormones
- How your hormones affect your dating life
- How the pill disrupts your dating life
The pill does much more to our bodies than suppress ovulation or "regulate our cycles" (btw, it doesn't do that either, listen to this). It affects our whole bodies and even reaches into our dating/married life. Can it really change who we are attracted to? And who is attracted to us?! Listen up!
