  • Episode 38, The Golden At-Bat
    2024/12/17

The Geezers are all aglow in anticipation of the holidays as they recorded Episode 38 of our 3 Old Geezers podcast. But first, we had to listen as Geezer Jim ranted on Major League Baseball's proposed "Golden At-Bat." What does Jim not like about the concept, which would let teams bat someone out of turn once a game? His chief complaint seems to be that it messes with baseball stats and history. Hear it for yourself.

The Geezers also celebrated the OKC Thunder's success in both the NBA Emirates Cup and their body of work this season. The Geezers love themselves some Isaiah Hartenstein and how he has helped the team continue winning in the absence of Chet Holmgren.

We also check in on college basketball, football and even wrestling before exiting with our favorite sports memories from 2024. LISTEN NOW!

    2024/11/26

The 3 Old Geezers hit the road in a special edition recorded Nov. 25 at our sponsor's location, MentaliTEA and Coffee in Bethany. MentaliTEA co-owner and operator Avery Buck joins the Geezers at the start of the podcast, and we learn who her favorite all-time Thunder player is. The caffeinated Geezers revive their college football talk with an analysis of what happened Saturday night in Norman and how appropriate was it for OU students to storm the field after the game. Geezer Ed also ponders whether it's time for the Thunder to consider trading Chet Holmgren because of his inability to avoid injury. Ed even has a likely destination! And the Geezers end their podcast by listing their 5 favorite NBA players on teams other than the Thunder.

  • 3 Old Geezers, Episode 31, August 20, 2024 -- Ed's on a rant (again)
    2024/08/21

Buckle up, listeners, because Geezer Ed is mad as hell and he's not going to take it any more. Not from the cable & phone company. Not from those morons who brought analytics in to Major League Baseball. Not from that "snake" Kevin Durant. Nor from that other "snake," Lincoln Riley. It's a GET OFF MY LAWN podcast at its finest. The Geezers also tackle some relevant topics like the number of wins the Thunder will have in the upcoming season, who's going to make the college football playoffs and the impending debut of Switzer beer. Ed says he's going to drink 'half a hundred,'
