The fire department says the treatment worked and the puppy is now doing well.Narcan, also known as naloxone, is an opioid antagonist that quickly reverses the effects of drugs like fentanyl by blocking opioid receptors. Fentanyl is a highly potent synthetic opioid, and according to the FDA, even a tiny amount can be dangerous for dogs.
