このコンテンツについて
Christina Buttons is an investigative reporter at the Manhattan Institute and a contributor to City Journal. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, her work focuses on pediatric gender medicine, child welfare policies, youth mental-health treatment, and immigration. She recently co-authored a piece titled, “Transgender Brain Studies are Fatally Flawed,” looking at the wide-ranging and harmful impact of bunk claims that there is such a thing as a “transgender brain” or that one can be “born in the wrong body,” with a “female brain” in a male body.
In this episode, Meghan Murphy speaks with Christina about the origins of this concept and the pseudoscience behind it.
