Celebrating Meher Baba's Declaration as the Highest of the High in Hamirpur.
As Pukar traveled from his gathering in Portland Oregon with Gil Alverado and many others, we have learned of at least three more stops as he made his way back to the East Coast. Pukar met with the Nordeen family in upper Michigan, Peter Nordeen then brought Pukar to visit with David Stoiber in Wisconsin.
As far as we know, his next stop was in Chicago as Pukar reconnected with many of the 12 Meher Players who performed at the Mela in Athens, Maine. We are very fortunate to have with us, David Miotke who has vivid memories of Pukar's time in Chicago. David, is well known in Baba circles as an incredible composer, pianist and vocalist.
