このコンテンツについて
From March 2020 to the end of 2022, the United States and the world underwent the most profound and destructive period of the postmodern era. It was not a war, a holocaust, nor an environmental disaster. Instead, a group of technocrats, media professionals, and for lack of a better word, hypochondriacs, descended the world into chaos and destruction. All in a futile effort to stop the spread of a cold-like virus with a less than 0.2% fatality rate. An overstatement? Lockdowns unemployed over twenty million people in the United States alone, plunged dozens of its cities into lawlessness, and precipitated the cessation of trade and commerce globally. Previously well-equipped citizens resorted to food banks to feed their families. Millions of unemployed, purposeless, and frankly bored individuals took to the streets to destroy their neighborhoods. Suicide rates skyrocketed along with drug and alcohol abuse.
When U.S. health authorities fund experiments on viruses to render them more transmissible to humans, later precipitating the destruction of modern civilization-all in the name of science-you know we have descended into madness once more. It sounds like a sci-fi movie or if real, a crime worthy of prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. What actually happened is far stranger. Instead, society celebrated these people, elevating them to the highest positions of government, even above elected officials. Millions would die as a result, not just in the United States but around the world. Not a single one of these "experts" nor the bureaucrats who willfully implemented their recommendations were ever charged with a crime. Instead, authorities threw citizens in jail for posting on social media, refusing to wear uncomfortable plastic cloth on their face, or committing that grievous sin of wanting to say goodbye to dying loved ones. This is the sad, bewildering but ultimately true history of the COVID-19 pandemic.
